Anyone Know of a Charity That WILL Accept Highlighted Hair?

yeah. go to locksoflove.org. they dont accept bleached hair, which it sounds like your isnt, so click on donate/volunteer, then donate hair, then read and at the bottom of the page click on the form and print it out, fill it out, and once you get your hair cut (make them keep it in a pony tail) put it in a plastic bag of some sort and mail it to them. they will send you a thank you a couple weeks later. If theres not that much highlights, then maby you could have that half cut off and the rest donated. good luck.

1. What should I donate to charity instead of money?

Volunteering your time can make a big impact if you want to help charities. It's a way to give back to your community and support it how you can-not all donations need to be monetary

2. Charity pies in her face.?

Have you been asked to do this?

3. How do I start an account online for charity?

You need to get her signed up for Medicaid to pay for all of her medical expenses. Then call the hospital to see if they have financial assitance to help pay for people's medical expense. Stop trying to do this yourself. There is help out there. Research your options. Also, medicaid in some states will even pay for you to drive to doctors appointments if they are far away.

4. Need help thinking of ways to raise money for my charity?

First you need to register your Charity with the IRS before you start raising money

5. Why do we give to charity?

I can only answer for myself. I would like someone to help me if I would find myself starving or homeless. So I would do for others what I desire for myself

6. Watchtower: Registered in England as a charity!?

Well at least JWs were honest on this one. As RICK G says: "A Charity does not have to give MONEY to anyone" And they surely do not . All of the money received by the Watchtower is funneled to printing more and more literature. The reason why the WT was sued in France was exactly because of this - the fac that although they are registered as a chartify organization and enjoy those benefits, they contribute nothing in the way of charitable work. This "disaster relief" that JWs keep bring up, because in reality there is the only thing that resembles a charitable work, is a joke. Everytbody knows that this is also a form of revenue. Think about this: Why is it that the bulk of this disaster relief is always the rebuilding of homes? Ever wondered? If you look at other charitable organizations, they usually start by providing food, clothes, medication, but the Watchtower concentrates all efforts on rebuilding homes. WHY? The fact is that the WT rebuilds homes of brothers and then collects the insurance money for those brothers. So the Watchtower pays for building materials, gets free labor to build it, and then collects the insurance money which is always more. Just another way to make money. You know very well that this is not true. But if you have any evidence that first century christians used other literature other than the holy scriptures, present it then.. You are also missing the point. The issue is not if the Watchtower won or lost the court case in France. The point is that the reason why this came about, is because the government of France recognizes that the status of Charity Organization does not apply to the Watchtower, because the Org performs no service benefitting the community at large. I also believe that the WT should not pay taxes if other religions do not , but the point is, other religions perform many charitable works, while the Watchtower only spends funds on itself. What i mean by this is that the Watchtower only spends money on something for which it will have a financial return eg. literature, disaster construction relief, etc , etc.

7. How does a charity organization deal with Community Breakdown? (religiously)?

Climate change and the associated disasters leave no choice numerous people, forcing them to leave their homes and even their countries. Disasters often strike the poorest, and all this is a real challenge for charity organizations. When it comes to climate change, denial often creates disputes. American writer Carrie Norgaard received many threatening e-mails after she published the book "Living in Denial: Climate Change, Emotions, and Everyday Life". Carrie does not deal with those few who deny that people cause climate changes. Rather, what she is interested in is why the majority of people in industrial countries, although they do not dispute the scientific findings about climate change, still do not do anything in their everyday life to contribute through local community service to the fight against it, even though their contributions would be very important.

Boy Who Hasn't Had a Haircut Since He Was Four Donates Mane to Charity
A schoolboy that has grown an impressive head of hair to donate to charity is to set to give his mane the chop. Bertie Pilkington, a 12-year-old from Newbury, Berkshire, is to have only the second haircut of his life in aid of the Little Princess Trust. Bertie, a pupil at Park House School, Newbury, has not had his hair trimmed since he was four and it's now down to his waist, making him look like a young rock star. On May 13th, he will have it cut at a local salon, and the lock will be donated to the charity which converts hair into wigs for children who have lost theirs, including through cancer treatment. He plans to donate his curls to the charity which converts hair into wigs for children who have lost theirs, including through cancer treatment. The trim will take place at Headroom salon in Inches Yard, Newbury. Bertie's mother Jo Munting said 'He had it trimmed when he was four, when he went to school. He's been growing it ever since. 'He's getting it cut and donating his hair to the Little Princess Trust, which makes wigs for children. He's hoping to raise money for them as well.' Bertie said 'Ever since I was old enough to have my hair cut, I've never really had it cut. 'There was this My Life programme on CBBC and this girl had a necklace with beads on of all the things she had to go to hospital for. 'There was one with a head and it said "a head, with hair" and there was another one next to it with a head without hair. 'And she talked about going through cancer and not being able to have hair. 'It's just about giving back, because of how lucky you are to not have cancer.' A JustGiving page has been set up by Bertie, with an initial fund-raising target of £550, and it's already got pledges of £350. All proceeds will be donated to the Little Princess Trust. The charity provides wigs made of real hair, free of charge, to children and young people up to age 24, who've lost theirs. Created in 2006, the Trust works with trusted salons to approve and fit the wigs, making sure they are as close to the child's natural hair colour as possible. Made of real hair, the wigs can be styled and cut to fit the person's style of choice.Am i good at basketball for my age? Improvement? You always need improvement.
